The fastest land animal in the world is the cheetah. It has
a speed of between 110 and 120 kilometres per hour. This
is faster than the speed limit on Norwegian motorways.

The sailfish
The fastest sea animal in the world is the sailfish. The
sailfish lives in the Gulf of Mexico. It can swim up to 110
kilometres per hour. Did you know that a sailfish can
swim a distance corresponding to eight times around the
world during its lifetime? When it attacks it happens so
quickly that a human eye can’t catch it.
Tinker Toy

The smallest cat ever
was Tinker Toy. He was
only 7 centimetres tall
and 19 centimetres
long when fully
grown. He died in
November 1997 at the
age of six.
